Norwake is the data controller for the processing of personal data collected through the website norwake.com.

Data collected

Navigation data, IP addresses, browser type, operating system, referring pages, pages visited, date and time of access and other parameters related to HTTP requests, are collected automatically by our web servers and used solely for statistical analysis and to ensure the correct functioning of the website.

Data provided voluntarily, name, email address, phone number and any additional information you send us through contact forms or by writing directly to our email addresses, are processed only in connection with the specific request you have made.

Application data, CVs, cover letters and other professional details submitted by email, are processed solely for the purpose of evaluating your candidacy.

Purposes and legal basis

Website operation and security, legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Responding to enquiries and contact requests, legal basis: performance of pre-contractual measures at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Evaluation of job applications, legal basis: performance of pre-contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and, for special categories of data, your explicit consent (Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR) where applicable.

Compliance with legal obligations, legal basis: legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

Anonymous statistical analysis of website traffic, legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Data retention

Navigation data are deleted within 90 days of collection, unless further retention is required for the detection of security incidents.

Contact request data are retained for the time necessary to handle the request and for a maximum of 24 months thereafter.

Application data are retained for a maximum of 24 months from the date of receipt, after which they are deleted unless you renew your consent or the data are needed for the establishment or defence of legal claims.

Data recipients

Your data may be shared with service providers who process data on our behalf (hosting providers, email services, analytics tools), bound by data processing agreements pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.

Data may also be communicated to public authorities or judicial bodies when required by applicable law.

We do not sell, rent or otherwise make your personal data available to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

International transfers

Some of our service providers may be established outside the European Economic Area. In such cases, transfers are safeguarded by Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission or by an adequacy decision, ensuring an equivalent level of data protection.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access your personal data and obtain a copy (Art. 15), rectify inaccurate data (Art. 16), request erasure (Art. 17), restrict processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21).

You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing (Art. 7(3)).

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, www.garanteprivacy.it).
